Class Descriptions

Yoga will help you gain flexibility, balance, strength, stress reduction, and increased awareness. For me, yoga has become a meditative movement practice focused on mobility and strength to support our bodies in the years to come.

Slow Flow

A nourishing mixture of Hatha Slow Flow with a bit of Yin to restore your soul.

  • Hatha yoga includes three elements: physical poses, breathing techniques, and meditation.

  • Yin yoga is made up of passive holds of seated and reclined postures. Coming into a pose while giving the body space to open up and go deeper. Yin let’s us be still, and rest and release.

Class length: 60 minutes

Gentle Movement

Taking advantage of the natural rhythms of the body: a guided practice with liberating movement so you can breathe and move intuitively, and gracefully while helping you build a strong and resilient body that can support you in all aspects of your life.

o   Focusing on mobility, balance, strength, and adaptability.

o   Yoga poses to increase strength and develop usable range of motion.

Flexibility and Mobility: Flexibility is the ability of our muscles and connective tissue to elongate (range of motion). Mobility is muscle strength and coordination.  Mobility is the ability of a body part to move. Flexibility is the capacity of a body part to be moved.
